Kids Ministry
Wallula Christian Church offers many exciting opportunities for kids throughout the year! Every Sunday, kids will experience Biblical teaching through fun and engaging environments geared specifically to your child. Classes are readily available for kids ranging in ages from infant through fifth grade at both 9:00 & 10:30 am worship services on Sunday mornings. All of our volunteers are background checked in order to provide the safest environment possible.
Youth group isn't just for big kids! K-5th Graders, join us on Sunday nights for JAM (Jesus & Me!) where we will learn more about our big idea from Sunday morning, introduce secondary scripture to dive deeper into what God is teaching us, and get to know our friends even better. JAM meets on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:30 pm. Be sure to click here and download a schedule of events to stay in the know with WCC Kids!
We want to partner with parents in guiding their children in a relationship with Jesus by teaching kids to do three things: Make wiser choices, build stronger relationships, and develop a deeper faith!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Elementary students participate in large group worship. They experience an interactive time where they learn about Jesus through singing, teaching, and life application. We focus on a monthly theme that directs teaching and prompts kids to ask questions and participate in activities together.
Preschoolers at Wallula spend time exploring and learning together through interactive teaching, crafts and activities. They have a blast with their friends and learn more about our awesome God together!
CHECK IN & SECURITY
We want you to know that your child is safe while they are here at WCC. When you check in your child on a Sunday morning, both the parent and the child receive a sticker with a security number. If there is ever an emergency, we page parents during the worship service with that number, or reach out via an automated text message! Parents should hand their child's sticker over at pickup and we match security numbers with their kids.
